Once upon a time, volunteering to run a sports league was pretty simple. It was a rec league, funded by donations, and the job of commissioner was a parental duty taken on by someone who had an extra couple of hours a season to help keep things organized. Things were simple. There were sign ups, volunteers from the dads to coach each team, setting the schedule, etc. Snacks consisted of sliced oranges and milk gallons filled with water. If one of the moms was feeling generous, she may even bring some pre-mixed orange drink, which was most likely 100% sugar....
